Calling something ‘now famous’ while declining to name it is not a fact. It is an insinuation dressed for church, an accusation built so it can never be checked. One senator is also cast as the sole barrier between Kansas and a Communist Senate, which is a heavy job for one of a hundred votes. And the Senator’s greatest achievement, a business investment, is credited to ‘working together with my Administration,’ because even a compliment for someone else has to be routed back to the sender.
