Flash floods in a border area between Nepal and China have killed at least 75 people, with Nepali officials reporting 403 people missing as of Wednesday, including 341 foreign nationals, many on pilgrimage to Mount Kailash in Tibet. China's state broadcaster reported a separate mudslide in Tibet killing at least three and leaving 265 missing.
The floods destroyed villages, roads and hydropower projects in the region, and Nepal has requested help from both India and China with rescue efforts.
