✒ FROM THE EDITORIAL DESK
A president who wants a bill passed has phone numbers, a party, and a pen; this one has a capital-letters demand and a newspaper clipping. Somewhere between the claim that ‘most’ want evening light and the claim that ‘ALL’ want to stop changing clocks, a vast majority became a unanimous one without any vote being taken. If the Senate is where good ideas go to die, it is worth noting that a post on social media is where they go to be eulogized. The clocks will change regardless, which is more than can be said for the method.
