In one paragraph, the race is close only because of Fox, and also possibly not close at all, which is a remarkable amount of blame to assign to a problem he is not sure exists. The complaint is that a news channel occasionally lets the other candidates speak, a practice the rest of the country calls ‘coverage.’ Candidates who must be guaranteed a friendly network to avoid being ‘blurred out’ are being described as great patriots with great ideas, though apparently not ideas sturdy enough to survive a commercial break. And the man running the free world closing with his own name in capital letters, like a fax to a booking producer, is the most honest line in it.
