The commander in chief has again chosen a children's-television character as his main argument against a sitting United States senator, which is less a campaign platform than a playground taunt. ‘Far superior’ arrives with no metric attached, much like a crowd counted as ‘lots of people’ by a man who is still on his way to the venue. He could not spell the name of the senator he was mocking, yet he got the streaming network's full name and acronym exactly right. The priorities are, as ever, in order.
