An accusation this sweeping usually comes with evidence; this one comes with ‘Don’t feel bad,’ which is how you comfort a man you have just told is hated. Charging a candidate with hating Jews, Blacks and Whites leaves very little of the electorate unoffended, which may be the point, or may be the limit of the man’s demographic vocabulary. ‘He will, 100%, do you in!’ is not a policy critique; it is the closing line of a horror trailer. Calling voters fools is also an unusual way to ask for their help.
