A President with the full apparatus of federal law enforcement at his disposal has chosen to handle a supposed disappearance with a social-media post and scare quotes around the word ‘kidnapped,’ which suggests even he does not believe it. The theory that lawyers would abduct a candidate to avoid prosecution for fraud explains nothing, accuses everyone and is unfalsifiable by design. ‘Nobody has been able to find him’ is a claim no one could check and he did not try to. And ‘Dumocrat’ is less a coinage than a typo with ambitions.
