When the person who commands the nation's armed forces tells residents of a state to ‘fight back’ against neighbors he has sorted by national origin, that is not crime policy; it is a dare. The logic eats itself: the state is supposedly drowning in violence, so the cure is more people fighting, while the federal rescue waits politely until the very officials he calls thieves and cowards fill out the request form. The post offers no evidence for any of it, just accusations of theft with no charge attached and a promise of mayhem with no end. And ‘leave the rest to us’ is not the language of a government offering help; it is the language of someone who would rather not say out loud what ‘the rest’ means.
